Frank Walsh

Frank Walsh decided to learn the bagpipes after attending the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF)'s Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony to honor his nephew and brother. In 2007, Walsh returned to the IAFF's Fallen Firefighters Memorial Ceremony as a piper with the Pipes & Drums of California Professional Firefighters. He is proud to have accomplished his goal of returning to the memorial as a bagpiper and feels fortunate to have the opportunity to honor his fellow fallen firefighters.

When Walsh is not playing his bagpipes, he is spending time with his family, fly fishing or water skiing. Walsh is an artist and owns Walsh Studios of Art and Design in Santa Cruz, Calif.
