Patrick Teffs

Patrick Teffs retired in 1998 after serving for 20 years with the Hayward Fire Department. Tefts has been playing the bagpipes for 15 years and joined the Pipes and Drums of California Professional Firefighters in 1999. He appreciates the opportunity that the Band gives him to stay active and involved in the fire service after retirement. Teffs attributes a big part of his fulfillment of being a band member to the opportunity to provide comfort and solace to families in need.
