Ramsey Ismail

Ramsey Ismail serves as a captain with the Alameda Fire Department. He has been a member of the band since its 1999 inception. Ismail feels a great deal of gratitude toward Dan Terry, California Professional Firefighters President Emeritus, whose vision created the California Fire Foundation, California Firefighters Memorial and the Pipes & Drums of California Professional Firefighters. He also thanks Lou Paulson for carrying on the tasks associated with running the California Professional Firefighters. When not piping, Ismail enjoys skydiving, marathons, mountain climbing and auto racing.
