Rob Lyons

Rob Lyons was hired by the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Protection District in 1977 and retired as a captain in December 2007. He has been a piper for 14 years and joined the Pipes & Drums of California Professional Firefighters in 2000. He also plays the mandolin, guitar and banjo and when he’s not playing music, he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. He joined the Pipes & Drums of the CPF to honor his fallen brothers and sisters.
