The California Fire Foundation has unveiled its latest venture to help families of firefighters who have died in the line-of-duty: The California Firefighters Endowment.

More than 1,000 firefighters, family members and friends of the profession gathered in Sacramento October 16th to honor 31 fallen firefighters added to the California Firefighters Memorial.

The 2010 California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony commemorated 31 individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice. The annual Memorial Ceremony honors firefighters who died in the line of duty, either from traumatic injuries in the field or from job-related causes.

The following are PSAs that aired in Fresno in English and Spanish as part of the California Fire Foundation's "Have an Escape Plan/Tenga Un Plan de Escape" campaign.
