California Fire Foundation

The 2009 California Firefighters Memorial Ceremony commemorated 82 individuals who paid the ultimate price to keep our state safe. The annual Memorial Ceremony honors firefighters who died in the line of duty, either from traumatic injuries in the field or from job-related causes.

The California Fire Foundation have produced public service announcements to urge senior citizens to be prepared to evacuate in the event of a disaster. The spots and accompanying campaign are available to all CPF affiliates.

Uniformed firefighters, family members and dignitaries from throughout California came together Saturday in remembrance of those who paid the ultimate price to protect the lives and property of Californians.

The California Fire Foundation produced public service announcements in English and Spanish to alert homeowners about the need to prepare for fire ahead of time. The spots and its accompanying campaign targeting under-served communities are available to all CPF affiliates.
