From a young age, Perry P. Choy was passionate about being a hero and knew he wanted to become a firefighter. He fulfilled this wish when he became a firefighter with the San Francisco Fire Department, where he served with honor and distinction for the entirety of his 20-year career, even earning a Meritorious Award in 2013. Outside of work, Perry enjoyed outdoor activities including snowboarding and scuba diving in addition to cooking and baking. He is survived by his partner, Aletha and his son, Jeremy.
