Storm McInerny began his 32-year career with North County Fire Protection District in 1987 as a reserve firefighter. He rose through the ranks to become a senior engineer and took great pride in mentoring aspiring firefighters. When off-duty, he enjoyed off-road racing and motocross, and loved spending time with family. Strom passed away from job-related heart failure in June 2019.
