Bill Wigmore, known affectionately as “Wiggy” to his friends and colleagues, dedicated 27 years to the Berkeley Fire Department and previously, 5 years to the Alto-Richardson Fire Department in Marin County. As one of the founding members of Berkeley’s Hazardous Materials Response Unit, Brother Wigmore was also a member of the Berkeley Fire Fighters Association, Local 1227, California Professional Firefighters, and International Association of Fire Fighters
