LODD: LAFD Fire Captain I George Roque

Los Angeles Fire Department and United Firefighters of Los Angeles City, Local 112 are saddened to announce the loss of one of their own.

Fire Captain I George Roque passed away on January 1, 2021 from complications of COVID-19. Brother Roque, 57, is the second Los Angeles city firefighter succumbed to COVID-19 complications.

Brother Roque proudly served the Los Angeles Fire Department for 22 years, rising to the rank of captain I. He was an exemplary firefighter who will be sorely missed by his brothers and sisters with Los Angeles city. Roque is survived by his wife and four children.
