By the Numbers

Since opening our first grant cycle in 2018, CFF has awarded over 500 projects totaling more than $10 million in direct support for awardees actively serving high fire threat and/or under-resourced communities in regions throughout California. Each year, requests for grant funding steadily increase – with every funding cycle becoming more competitive than the last.

Our grantees are actively addressing some of the state’s toughest wildfire and disaster prevention, preparedness, relief and recovery needs. See our list of 2022 Awarded Projects by Funding Recipient.

In 2022, the California Fire Foundation awarded more than $2.52 million in support for 121 wildfire prevention and preparedness, wildfire relief and recovery, and disaster relief projects statewide — View our 2022 Impact Report
