Chris Nelson embodied the finest qualities of a true firefighter and loved the fire service. He began his journey in the fire service as a Paid Call Firefighter with the Fresno County Fire Department and went on to serve the citizens of Selma with honor and distinction for eight years. Chris was passionate about being a paramedic and was well-known for his outstanding patient care. He enjoyed spending time and traveling with his wife, Ernestine, and his two children, Kristen and Jared. His family was his true pride and joy.
