Bob began his career with CAL FIRE as a seasonal firefighter, working his way to become a battalion chief. Bob was also a passionate and forceful advocate for his brothers and sisters, serving for a decade as president of CAL FIRE, Local 2881 and as 6th District Vice President for California Professional Firefighters. Outside of work he loved spending time with his family, coaching baseball and riding his motorcycle. Bob succumbed to a job-related illness in March of 2017.
